On Monday’s ESPN+ broadcast of the Oral Roberts game, play-by-play announcer Matt Pedersen and UH legend Reid Gettys praised Jamal Shead’s two essays on playing point guard for Kelvin Sampson (find them here and here).
“He wrote two articles that I thought were incredibly insightful,” Gettys said during the first half. “I enjoyed them very much.”
Gettys, the UH all-time assists leader, is no stranger to fantastic PG play. And it’s also no secret that he thinks Shead is fantastic.
“Look it up. It’s very good from Jamal Shead,” Pedersen added.
