Kelvin Sampson makes practices harder than games in order to get his guys mentally prepared for the grind of the season. But post-practice can be difficult, too. Players must complete shooting drills several times a week where they do not move to the next station until a certain number are hit. Usually, guards have to hit 9/10 but when they go on a run, they’ll shoot until they miss. Once they do miss, they have to hit two more to move on.
