Tuesday after practice, a few Houston players were made available to the media for interviews. The ‘scrum’ was larger than it had been all year as the city’s media outlets finally got interested in Cougar Basketball.
However, the availability was cut short due to a team-wide (non-NIL) commitment, which meant only Emanuel Sharp, Terrance Arceneaux, and Marcus Sasser were made available. At this time of year, that’s to be expected.
Kelvin Sampson stuck around for much of post-practice shoot-around, which is highly unusual.
