Billy Bowman Jr. Is A 4-Star Prospect
Today, the Cougars offered Denton Ryan ATH Billy Bowman Jr. The 2021 recruit is a Texas Top-50 and won’t be able to sign until December 2020. Justin Johnson appears to be recruiting him for the Coogs.
Bowman currently has offers from 14 P5 schools including 5 former SWC schools. He will continue to pull in the offers during the current spring evaluation period (April 15-May 31). UH coaches are fanned out around the country watching prospects and making offers.

Contact Period: Coaches can have in-person contact with a recruit or legal guardians. May write/text and call.
Evaluation Period: Coaches can visit a recruit’s school or place of competition to observe and make notes on the player. A coach cannot have in-person contact with the recruit or legal guardians. May write/text and call.
To date, Bowman has made unofficial visits to Texas A&M (no offer), Arkansas (offer), and Texas Tech (offer).
Boston College offered Bowman during his freshman year (April 2018) while SMU and Tulsa offered in the fall of that year. He received 5 P5 offers in the January 2019 contact period and has picked up 9 since the spring evaluation period began on April 15th.
Correction: Bowman is listed on recruiting services as a CB but he tweeted after our story that he will be recruited as an athlete.
