AAC Champs Celebrate & Cut Down The Nets On Senior Night

The 2021-22 Houston men’s basketball team will go down as one of the greats in UH lore. Having lost four starters from the 2021 Final Four team, Marcus Sasser suffered a season-ending injury just before Christmas while Tramon Mark was lost for the year the same week due to surgery. Undaunted, the Coogs marched through the AAC schedule and won the league Tuesday after a win over Cincinnati.

UH then beat Temple, 84-46, to win their 15th conference game of the year. They celebrated with Senior Night festivities before the game and by cutting down the nets after. With the win, UH finished the year 16-1 at home and are now 60-4 all-time in the Fertitta Center.
