As you may know, Andy Yanez traded in his UH beat for a high school teaching job in Houston. He still writes a column for GoCoogs.com, but he has a lot more on his plate now. He’s also the head coach for the boy’s varsity basketball team.
Tonight, Andy makes his debut as a coach.
So we thought we’d ask Kelvin Sampson if he had any advice for Andy before this evening’s game. He declined to give advice but did encourage him and made him a kind offer. Have a look:
