The Houston Cougars built a 21-point lead over the Texas A&M Aggies but saw it evaporate in the final minutes. With 29 seconds left, Emanuel Sharp hit a big three-pointer and then two clutch free throws with five seconds left to gut out a 70-66 win.
Houston moves to 11-0. The team has the day off on Sunday. Sharp scored 21 points and had six boards, while J’Wan Roberts had 10 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 assists. Jamal Shead also had eight assists.
