The Houston Cougars were back inside Fertitta Center Monday for practice before the McNeese game on Wednesday night. The Coogs moved back to #3 in the country in both major polls earlier in the day.

After the game Wednesday, players will be dismissed for the Christmas holiday. They will not have to report back until Christmas evening. Jamal Shead said J’Wan Roberts will spend Christmas with his family before driving back from the Austin area.
Roberts was surprised when told about Jay Bilas’ in-game comments calling him one of the best rebounders in the country.
