Cougars Move Up To #21 In AP Poll

The Houston Cougars jumped from #25 to 21st in this week’s AP Poll. UH received 296 points, almost double last week’s total.

Almost every voter included the Coogs on their ballot. Just two media members left UH off: Brian Holland of Baton Rouge and Dave Preston of DC.

The Cougars moved to #20 in the Coaches Poll.

This is our second season with the GoCoogs AP Top 25 Tracker. Each Monday, we will track the Cougars as AP voters post their ballots on Twitter, Instagram, or their outlet’s website. All “other notable ratings” have been updated after the USF game.

This week, we expect the Coogs to move up three spots to 22. The rankings are released around 11 a.m.
