I understand that the purpose of the GoCoogs.com (known as GoCoogs) Oral History Project is to collect audio-recorded oral histories of former UH athletes, coaches, and staff. These oral histories, along with selected documentary materials such as photographs or any written material you provide, are for inclusion in the GoCoogs Cougar History collection. These oral histories and related materials serve as a record of your experiences and can be used as an educational resource for and by GoCoogs, UH fans, and the general public.
I understand that GoCoogs.com plans to retain the product of my participation in oral history including, but not limited to, my interview, photographs, statements, name, images or likeness, voice, and written materials (known as My Contribution) as part of its permanent collection. I hereby grant GoCoogs ownership of the physical property comprising My Contribution. Additionally, I hereby grant to GoCoogs, at no cost, the perpetual, nonexclusive, transferable, worldwide right to use, reproduce, transmit, display, perform, prepare derivative works from, distribute, and authorize the redistribution of the materials in My Contribution in any medium. By giving this permission, I understand that I retain any copyright and related rights that I may hold.
I hereby release GoCoogs, and its assignees and designees, from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of My Contribution, including but not limited to any claims for copyright infringement, defamation, invasion of privacy, or right of publicity. Should any part of My Contribution be found to include materials that GoCoogs deems inappropriate for retention with the Oral History Project or for transfer to other collections, GoCoogs may dispose of such materials.
