UH has an amazing history across 16 sports but no one has ever taken the time to document and preserve it for future generations. GoCoogs.com is working to change that: we have written extensively on the great players, teams, and coaches across 75 years of UH history. But now we’re going further and we need your help.
GoCoogs has begun the process of building an archive of oral histories to keep UH history and tradition alive for years to come. We want you to take part by recording your own oral history. Oral histories are just interviews – open-ended questions we ask former UH athletes/coaches/staff. It’s your chance to be part of UH history once again.
Our goal is to learn how athletes, coaches, and staffers remember the most important people, games, and seasons of their careers. Examples of our most recent oral histories can be found below.
We’d love for you to participate. If you would like to do so, please click here to read and sign our Oral History release form and provide a method of contact.
Go Coogs!
