Wide receiver Mekhi Mews has been sidelined with a nagging ankle injury this spring. He had surgery just before Spring Football began and will be cleared for activity in May. Saturday, Mekhi became a GoCoogs correspondent and interviewed three first-year receivers – Harvey Brousard III, Amare Thomas, and Zaylen Cormier – and Koby Young, who played in the opener but missed the rest of the season due to injury.
