Coach Kelvin Sampson and members of the UH Men’s Basketball Team met with the media Wednesday, six days before their intrasquad scrimmage. The Cougars will play the Australian National Team, the Sydney Hawks, and a select team. Sampson said if his team could play the National Team four times, that’s what he’d choose. He wants his young squad playing against the best.
UH leaves on the trip on August 4th and will stop in San Francisco before flying to Sydney. Sampson said the team will arrive on the 6th and will play the Hawks on the 7th. The team will return to campus on the 15th.
