The UH defense suffocated Grambling, holding the Tigers to 102 yards. It was the best performance by a Cougar defense since Lamar in 2016.
Ike Ogbogu came on in relief of an injured Clayton Tune and led the offense efficiently and connected on the first two touchdown passes of his career. Nathaniel Dell caught 8 balls for 134 yards and two scores while freshman phenom Alton McCaskill ran for 123 yards and two TDs of his own.
