Cougars beat Texas A&M, 9-3, in February
Houston hosted the AAC softball tournament last weekend – hosted, that is, before it was rained out. The field conditions made it impossible for the tournament to be completed by Sunday night’s selection show. USF won the tournament championship by default as they were highest-remaining seed left (and regular-season champs).
Sunday, the Cougar softball team received the news that they’d be heading to Austin for an all-Texas regional with UT, Sam Houston, and first-round opponent Texas A&M.
