Emanuel Sharp has always been a relaxed, go-with-the-flow, fun guy willing to help. So, on Monday evening, I went to him with a request: after an intense practice followed by another 100+ three-pointers in individual work, would he go into the practice gym and shoot even more while doing a GoCoogs Conversation? He smiled and said he’d never been interviewed while shooting.
With the help of student manager Ciarra Merchant, Emanuel was fantastic. He also hit 67/78 (85.9%) of his shots during the time I was filming (including before and after the interview).
