All 8 commits were in action last week and several shined with outstanding performances. But today, we highlight another dominant game from DT Adonis Friloux.

Adonis Friloux – DT

Adonis Friloux had a monster game as the Hahnville Tigers remain undefeated after a 21-0 shutout over East St. John. Friloux finished with 3 sacks in the game.

The defense, led by Friloux, gave up just 106 yards in the game.

“We had put in a big game plan for this one. We put in a lot of stunts, and other things, and for us to (execute) all that in the game and dominate with it is fantastic,” Friloux told VSNLouisiana.

“I have been playing since I was a freshman and have been through all the different obstacles and challenges we have been through, and it feels great to be 5-0,” Friloux said. “It feels like I am living a dream. We need to make sure we continue to watch film every day, execute and stay humble.”

Hahnville is ranked #6 in Louisiana 5A. Friloux’s midseason highlight reel:

Next Up: The Tigers go on the road to challenge Thibodaux on 10/11/19.

Cy Lakes lost another close one, this time to Cy Woods 31-28. Massoud was 18 of 32 for 263 yards and 1 TD passing and had 22 carries for 132 yards and 3 TDs on the ground. That’s his best rushing game of the year. Massoud is also in the top two passers in 6A in the Houston area.

Next Up: Cy Lakes goes to Bryan on 10/11/2019

The Eagles improved to 4-1 with a 70-7 win over South Houston (somewhere in Baton Rouge, Nick Torina sheds a tear). This is the third consecutive game the Eagles have scored 70+.
