Video highlights: 1977 Cotton Bowl

Houston ran through Maryland on January 1, 1977, to win its first Cotton Bowl. The Coogs got 21 first-quarter points from running backs Diral Thomas and Alois Blackwell, thanks to a missed kick by Maryland, and a blocked punt and a fumble recovery from Mark Mohr.

WBAP-TV in Dallas, now KXAS, produced this highlight package which includes an interview with Coach Bill Yeoman.
